This Edison Touch Lamp is made of beautiful African mahogany hardwood.  It has a antique escutcheon (door plate) as the foundation for the Edison bulb socket creating a vintage look and feel to the piece.  The vintage character is also enhanced in the bronze strain relief at the base of the cord; the twisted, fabric-wrapped, brown and black electrical cord; and the antique-style plug.  The lamp can stand vertically to show off the additional key hole plate on the top, or it can be laid horizontally.  The three stage touch sensor is activated when the antique key is placed in in the key hole.   Once inserted, a simple touch of the key will turn the lamp on, increase light intensity, or turn it off.  The lamp is detailed with two flush magnets to hold the key when not in use.
